Sunday's Most Urgent Needs for San Juan Cosala

As to needs for San Juan Cosala which change daily...
Current needs are for:
Plastic or Styrofoam Plates.
Plastic forks, knives, spoons.
Paper napkins--(get the giant packages with hundreds)
Rolls of plastic bags approximately 6" X 8"
Non perishable food items...Canned goods of all descriptions (Think Mexican)
but very advanced dates of expiry preferably of 6 months or more.
Sheets
Towels
Cleaning Products - Mops, Brooms, Cleaning Cloths, Buckets, Fabuloso, Pinol, Powder Soap, Laundry Detergent and bars of laundry soap (it's best for getting out spots and stains)
Men's Shoes

The Head of Disaster Management informs us that it is ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT that donations arrive to the CENTER FOR DISTRIBUTION located to the left of the church. PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE ON YOUR OWN...Disaster Management needs to make sure that items get to where they are most needed.

Food for Displaced
The need for food to assist in feeding the displaced is still very strong.
Lupita's restaurant is serving hundreds of meals a day. They need Rice, Dried Beans (get perunas or flor de mayo, fresh tortillas (take a large cooler to the tortilleria and fill it up).

They also need perishable food items--including meats for soups and stews (Again think Mexican..your butcher can probably advise.

These food items should be taken directly to the restaurant (North Side two blocks east of the main plaza) and NOT TO THE CENTRE FOR DISTRIBUTION.
