What is IGI certification?
The International Gemological Institute or IGI is also a very large institution, and it has been around since 1975. While both GIA and IGI are reputable labs, there is noticeable difference in how they grade diamonds. In a nutshell, IGI is not as consistent or strict in grading diamonds as GIA.
How can I check my diamond certificate in India?

AGS is a good lab as well, but we have seen some inconsistency at times with them grading clarity and color properly (minor issue). However, they are superior with grading cut as they use a proportions-based system. IGI is a decent lab as well, but not as good as GIA or AGS.
