To advance to the 2021 AAU Junior Olympic Games from an AAU Track & Field Regional Qualifier, an athlete needs to finish in the top six (6) in a Running Event, top six (6) in a Field Event, top six (6) in a Relay and four (4) Multi-Event.

What age are the athletes competing in the Youth Olympic Games (YOG)? The young athletes must be 15, 16, 17 or 18 years old on 31 December in the year of the Games. The age groups for the events in which they compete are defined in collaboration with the International Sports Federations (IFs) concerned.

How much does AAU track cost?

For a regular Youth Athlete Membership the fee is $14/year, which runs from September 1 to August 31. For a regular Non-Athlete Membership the fee is $16/year. The AAU does offer different levels of individual membership as well as an Adult Program.
